About St. Francis Animal Care Center
SFACC is a referral veterinary specialty medical care facility founded by Dr. Laura Smallwood. Previously, Dr. Smallwood owned and operated Northlake Veterinary Internal Medicine, Inc., in Clarkston, GA, from 1990 until opening SFACC in Fall 2007. The Decatur facility is specifically designed for specialty veterinary medicine services. SFACC will be adding new disciplines of veterinary specialty medicine to the existing menu of surgical, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging services. SFACC is under the direction of Dr. Smallwood. Dr. Smallwood brings to the new Center 18 years of experience as an Atlanta veterinary specialist and practice owner.
